The Saudi Riyas oil and gas processing project undertaken by the company has successfully passed the first phase of the 90% model review organized by Saudi Aramco recently, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the project.

This stage of the review mainly focused on the two core modules of process piping and fire protection systems, which are fully supervised by the Client’s Project Management Consultant (PMC) throughout the process. A multinational joint review team composed of project FEED contractor Wood Company and Saudi Aramco overseas experts jointly conducted a 26-day comprehensive review. In order to cooperate with the review, the company’s project team invests more than 10 hours a day in professional discussions. Through digital means such as 3D model dynamic deduction, pipeline maintenance, and operability simulation, and the systematic verification of key technical indicators such as process compliance, equipment safety spacing, and construction operability, the team proposed innovative solutions in fire passage setting optimization and pipeline layout rationality, winning unanimous recognition of their professional level and dedication by the review team.

The second-stage review preparation work has been fully launched for the project at present, and team members are using a “countdown” model to carry out technical docking to ensure in-depth coordination between design data and procurement and construction processes.
