A raffinate tower with a height of 118 meters, a diameter of 15 meters, and a hoisting weight of 4366 tons was hoisted into place at the HAPCO’s 2 million t/a Aromatic Complex site on February 26. This not only marks the successful hoisting of HAPCO Fine Chemical’s largest single equipment, but also sets a new record for the highest height, largest diameter, and second largest bare weight of similar equipment in the same industry both domestically and internationally.

NORINCO Group, Clients, supervisors and relevant leaders of Panjin City, as well as President Yang Xudong of the company, and main members of the Quality and Safety Department, the Construction Management Department and Huajin Project Department attended the equipment hoisting ceremony. Yang Xudong stated in his speech that he will continue to cooperate closely and work together with the participating companies, and unite and strive, and spare no effort to do a good job in hoisting the remaining large equipment, installation of steel structures, pipeline prefabrication and other tasks, so as to make new achievements and create new achievements for the early completion and operation of the HAPCO Fine Chemical Project.

At present, the Aromatics Complex has entered the peak period of equipment installation. All participants involved in the construction will remain firm in their goals and make every effort to launch a sprint towards the mechanical completion by “Sept 30” and the intermediate handover by “Dec 30”.
