The raffinate tower, the core equipment of the Aromatics Complex of HAPCO project, which was under EPC contracting by the company, was delivered to the site on January 16, successfully achieving an important milestone in project construction.

The raffinate tower has a maximum outer diameter of 15 meters, a length of 118 meters and a bare weight of more than 3500 tons. It is the heaviest single equipment in the entire HAPCO project. Starting from March 2024, faced with unfavorable conditions such as tight deadlines, heavy tasks, and poor construction conditions, with the full support from the Client, the company has focused on the critical path of manufacturing and installing of the raffinate tower, planned in advance, and sincerely cooperated with the Client and the manufacturing company, scientifically organized and innovated construction methods, worked overtime, and completed the manufacturing of raffinate tower in just 196 days from the beginning of material cutting, creating a record for the shortest delivery cycle of similar towers.

It is reported that after the delivery of the tower to the project site, preparatory work such as “protection and decoration” and gantry crane assembly operations will be carried out to create conditions for early hoisting and positioning.
