The “Metal Information Management System for Petrochemical Equipment” project developed under the leadership by the company passed the technical appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of the Group Company on January 15. The appraisal committee, composed of experts from the Science and Technology Department, the Material and Equipment Department, and the Refining Business Department of the Group Company, Tianjin Branch, R&D Center, Ningbo Engineering Company, Zhongke Refining and Chemical Company, Qingdao Safety Engineering Institute and other companies unanimously agreed that the technical achievement has reached domestic leading level as a whole and is recommended to be under promotion and application.

This achievement integrates data and technology from the entire industry chain such as petrochemical equipment design, material production, manufacturing and use, and develops an intelligent information management platform for metal materials for petrochemical equipment. The platform has seven functional modules: petrochemical material search, equipment selection, performance estimation, material customization, inspection and testing, failure analysis, and digital delivery, which can achieve integrated and efficient operation. At the same time, based on design material selection guidelines and relevant domestic and foreign standards, a multi-dimensional material selection platform developed using technologies such as data association, performance evaluation and material cost analysis can realize multi-dimensional intelligent material selection for petrochemical equipment and intelligent selection of welding materials.
