Recently, the mechanical completion of the 1000kta continuous reforming unit at Hunan Petrochemical, a project contracted by our company, was achieved. Representatives from the owner, general contractor, and supervision units attended the completion ceremony. Certificates of Mechanical Completion were awarded to the section I and II contracting units of the project.

Located in the second district of Hunan Petrochemical (the former Changling Refinery area), the project utilizes our company’s independently developed ultra-low pressure continuous reforming technology. New construction includes a 1000kta reforming unit, a 400kta aromatics extraction unit, and a 40,000 Nm³/h reforming hydrogen enrichment unit with supporting facilities. The unit mainly processes straight-run naphtha and mixed naphtha from storage tanks to produce carbon-6 and carbon-7 distillates, mixed xylene, and high-octane gasoline components.

Construction of the project began on November 22, 2023, and work is now in the final stages, aiming for a high-standard mid-term handover by the end of February 2025.
