On October 11, the Huizhou Petrochemical low-temperature heat integration utilization project constructed by the Company as an EPC contractor, held its intermediate handover ceremony. Key members from Huizhou Petrochemical, Tianjin Chemical Research and Design Institute, quality supervision department, the company and the construction unit attended the event.

The project primarily includes seven units: aromatics modification, thermal pipeline modification, fire protection pipeline modification, hot water station, cooling water facility, Heat Pump Unit #1, and Heat Pump Unit #2. Upon completion, Huizhou Petrochemical will be able to efficiently recover low-temperature waste heat from the aromatics complex to generate steam, reducing energy consumption in the plant and achieving annual energy-saving and carbon reduction targets. This aligns with the national goals of "peak carbon emissions" and "carbon neutrality" as well as the development of a circular economy.

Since April 2023, the company has fully leveraged its strengths in EPC project management, enhancing coordination between design, procurement, and construction. While ensuring safety, the company has strictly controlled the quality of construction processes and procedures, overcoming challenges such as "dual-side construction" and adverse weather in the southern region, successfully achieving a high-standard intermediate handover for the project.
