The groundbreaking ceremony for the general contracting project of Saudi Aramco’s natural gas condensate recovery and separation project undertaken by our company was held at the site of Riyas, Saudi Arabia on July 28, marking the official start of the project construction.

The project is located in Jubail City, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It belongs to the second phase of the capacity expansion and reconstruction project for the development of the Jafurah gas field, the country’s largest unconventional gas field. The main construction content includes two sets of 255,000 barrels per day natural gas condensate fractionation units and supporting system units. Since October 2023, the project consortium has carried out work simultaneously in Madrid of Spain, Guangzhou, and Beijing, and has achieved established node targets such as the preparation of various program documents, 30% design review, and the release of preliminary on-site drawings. Since the kick-off meeting of the main construction subcontractors on site on June 24, 2024, the project team has made every effort to promote the preparations for on-site commencement, actively assisted the subcontractors in completing the entry procedures to ensure the smooth start of the project.

The project will help the local economic focus shift from oil to gas and accelerate the layout of the country’s natural gas industry upon its completion and putting into operation.
