The “Intelligent Drive for the Future - Petrochemical Static Equipment Intelligent Design Forum” sponsored by the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group and organized by the company and Shandong Shanda Huatian Software Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Jinan High-tech Zone of Jinan on August 9. A total of 60 experts, designers and business representatives from various member companies of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group, many engineering design and equipment manufacturing companies inside and outside the system, and Huatian Software Company participated in the exchange. The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Shi Enrong, Deputy Manager of the Information Center of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group.

Nie Aijie, Manager of the Design Management Office of the Engineering Department of the Group Company, said in his speech that this forum has established a high-level and wide-vision technical exchange and cooperation platform for the field of petrochemical engineering design, which will help promote experience sharing within the industry and promote technology integration and innovation, accelerate the intelligent and digital process of the petrochemical industry, and contribute to the realization of green, efficient and sustainable development goals. Yang Chaoying, Chairman of Huatian Software Co., Ltd., welcomed the attendees and believed that the thirteen years of cooperation with Guangzhou Engineering Company demonstrated the foresight of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group and fully demonstrated the role of domestic companies in protecting intellectual property rights and promoting localized substitution. He hoped for continued collaboration to jointly write a glorious chapter in the refining and chemical industry with a global leading technology blueprint and implementation strategy.

The company shared insights on “Three-dimensional Intelligent Design Solutions for Petrochemical Static Equipment” and “Intelligent Development Outlook for Petrochemical Static Equipment Full Life Cycle”. The Petrochemical Static Equipment 3D Design System is the first intelligent design software in China jointly developed by the company and Huatian Software Company based on the domestic 3D CAD platform. It can provide functions such as 3D intelligent design, 2D automatic drawing, collaborative design, and digital delivery. Since 2015, the company has comprehensively promoted the system in engineering projects, completing the engineering design of more than a thousand sets of various types of static equipment, effectively improving the level of professional design technology, promoting the transformation of design models, and achieving digitalization, collaboration, and intelligence in the engineering design process. The EIM model proposed around the intelligent design, manufacturing, and operation and maintenance platform provides a reference for the subsequent development direction of intelligent petrochemical static equipment throughout the life cycle. Huatian Software Company and the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group shared and exchanged views on “Prospects for Three-Dimensional Design of Petrochemical Static Equipment Based on Cloud CAD” and “Exploration and Practice of Digital Transformation of Petrochemical Equipment Management” respectively.

All participating companies conducted in-depth discussions on the topic of “Intelligent Design Status, Application and Development of Petrochemical Static Equipment”, shared their latest exploration results and practical experience in the field of intelligent design, and discussed the current bottlenecks and challenges faced by intelligent design in the afternoon.
