On the afternoon of June 30, the EPC Contract for Saudi Aramco Riyas condensate recovery and separation project was successfully signed. The contract amount is 3.35 billion US dollars, of which GPEC share is 1.17 billion US dollars, making it the project with the largest single contract amount contracted by GPEC and even SEG in Saudi Arabia. SEG General Manager Zhang Xinming was invited to the contract signing ceremony. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia Minister of Energy, Amin Nasser, President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, and Han Weiguo, executive director and Party Committee Secretary of GPEC.
It is reported that the project is located in the Riyas region of the Ash-Sharqīyah province of Saudi Arabia, and the project mainly consists of two 255,000 barrels per day natural gas condensate fractionation units and supporting system units, to be implemented by GPEC on behalf of the consortium of SEG and TR of Spain. Since the time counting was started for the project contract in late October last year, the two parties of the consortium have entered the project implementation phase in Madrid, Guangzhou and other places simultaneously. Now the project is in steady progress.
