On June 21, the longest road crossing truss of Bohe-Maoming Oil Product Pipeline Project was hoisted to place in the Youcheng Sanlu section of Maoming, and the 6 oil product pipelines were also installed at the same time, realizing the connection of oil product pipelines inside and outside the plant, and laying a solid foundation for achieving the mechanical completion goal of the project on September 30.

For the Bohe-Maoming Oil Product Pipeline, with a total length of about 83km, the construction was started in May 2022, with the GPEC and R&P Engineering jointly undertaking EPC for the project. Over the past two years and more, in the face of adverse factors such as complex and diverse terrain, many crossing points with railways, roads, rivers and fish ponds, and difficult parallel construction of multiple pipelines along the project route, the project team on the one hand actively coordinated with the owner and relevant local government departments, and made great efforts in relocation and removing barriers to creation conditions for the project construction, and on the other hand well assured quality and safety while speeding up the progress, and realized in-depth and reasonable crossing of design, procurement and construction by all means. Many key milestones were completed such as the oriented crossing of Xiaodongjiang and Meihuajiang, the pipe jacking crossing of railway at 7 places and of highway at 23 places, and crossing of urban roads at 2 places. Up to now, the whole project has been completed by 90.36%.

Since the beginning of June, to fully implement the principle set by both parties at the high level project acceleration meeting and strive to realize the intermediate handover milestone by September 30 for the project, the GPEC leaders went to the site in person, to coordinate the working entities to organize manpower in labor competition and extend the work time, to catch up the schedule with full efforts. The project group of GPEC, including the project manager and department managers, all went to the site to lead the teams and organize them to catch up with the work, and the work is going on without interruption for some key links. For matters requiring long time for work approval such as crossing the national pipeline and the railway of Guangzhou Railway Bureau in operation, the construction entities have worked together to actively win the support from owners and relevant local government departments and tried to catch up the schedule.

Now in this project, the work to connect various sections is proceeding in an orderly way, and overall installation has been started for the station and ground units.
