Following the completion of the utility facilities, process units for Polylactic Acid Project Phase I of Jiangxi Academy of Science, undertaken by the Company as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor, reached a significant milestone on June 6 with the successful achievement of intermediate handover.

This project represents the company's pioneering venture into comprehensive EPC contracting for bio-degradable new material production facilities. It encompasses various units, including lactic acid, polylactic acid, gypsum, general plan and transportation, supporting utility works, and auxiliary production facilities. Constructed in two phases according to initial planning, the company assumes responsibility for project design and integration, as well as EPC project construction for 27 individual units.

Since construction began in July 2022, the company has adeptly navigated evolving challenges and requirements in the field of chemical new materials. Leveraging our core strengths in project management, resources, and technology, we have addressed issues such as insufficient design input and complex engineering interfaces. Rigorous adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) management principles has been upheld throughout the process, fostering close collaboration with the owner to control project investment and achieve key milestone objectives. Notably, 12 utility units attained intermediate handover ahead of schedule in January this year.

At present, several units of the project have commenced the commissioning phase with feedstock.
