On May 27, the air lifting operation for the 1302-T-02 LNG tank at the receiving station of the Sinopec Guangxi LNG Phase III expansion project, jointly undertaken by the Company and Sinopec Tenth Construction Co., Ltd, concluded successfully after nearly three hours. This milestone signifies the near completion of the primary structure of the first 220,000m3 tanks’ outer shell in the project, signaling the transition to the inner tank construction phase. Wang Xiaowei, the Company's Vice General Manager, along with heads of the Project Management Department and other key departments, attended the air lifting ceremony.
The project is situated in the Tieshan Port Area of Beihai, Guangxi, with a design scale of 6 million tons/year. It comprises one 30000-266,000 m3 LNG transportation ship berth, four 220,000 m3 LNG storage tanks, and associated gasification outbound systems and tank truck loading facilities.
Construction commenced in August 2023, with the first phase slated for completion and commissioning by the end of 2026.
