On May 22, the first hydrogenation reactor of the Fujian Fuhaichuang fluidized bed residuum hydrotreating unit, constructed by the Company as the EPC contractor was successfully hoisted in position at the first try, marking the transition of the construction of Fuhaichuang raw material adaptability technological transformation project into the equipment installation stage.

The 1500kta fluidized bed residuum hydrotreating unit is the main plant of Fujian Fuhaichuang Petrochemical Co., Ltd.'s Raw Material Adaptability Technological Transformation Project, which broke ground on May 8, 2023. Weighing in at 2300 tons each, with a diameter of 5.43 meters and a length of 72.91 meters, the two hydrogenation reactors represent the heaviest oversized equipment in the project. On May 19, the first reactor arrived at the site from the terminal. To ensure a successful lifting at the first try, the Company, together with the Owner and all participating parties, meticulously planned and scientifically demonstrated the lifting operation. Employing a 3600-ton hydraulic jacking system as the primary lifting machinery and a 1250-ton crawler crane for tail sliding assistance, the installation was completed at 13:58 on May 22, setting a new record for the successful lifting at the first try of large-scale equipment in the region."
