On April 12, the High-quality Development Promotion Conference for Modern Industrial Chain of Hydrogen Energy Application and the Second Annual Meeting of the Expert Consultation Committee were held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The conference was hosted by Sinopec, as guided and supported by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the National Energy Administration. The chairman and Party group secretary of the Group, Ma Yongsheng, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The Party group member and deputy general manager, Li Yonglin, presided over the meeting and announced the notice on the supplementary list of experts to the consultation committee. The executive director and Party committee secretary of GPEC, Han Weiguo, was present at the meeting, and the former executive director and Party committee secretary of GPEC, Zhou Chengping, attended the meeting as a member of the expert consultation committee.

The meeting, with the theme of “Hydrogen Carries the Future, and Carbon Benefits the World,” was aimed at pooling the wisdom and strength of the whole industry chain, evolving around building core links, improving the industrial chain collaboration mechanism, grasping the development trend of green hydrogen and ammonia and preventing major risks in the industrial chain, to booster the high-quality development of China's modern industrial chain of hydrogen energy application. At the meeting, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, experts and scholars, and entrepreneur representatives made keynote or special reports on the development of sustainable fuels, the research and industrialization development of green hydrogen energy, the progress of bio-jet-fuel technology, and the safety and control technology in the hydrogen energy industry chain.

More than 200 people from more than 100 domestic enterprises, associations and research institutions related to the hydrogen energy industry chain in China were present at the meeting.
