On March 29th, the mechanical completion inspection meeting for the low-temperature heat utilization project of CNOOC Huizhou Petrochemical, constructed with the Company as the EPC contractor, was held in Huizhou Petrochemical. The general manager of the Company Yang Xudong, and relevant personnel of the Project Management and the project team attended the inspection meeting.

The project mainly involves revamping relevant facilities for plants such as the aromatics complex by using the heat pump unit, to recover, transport, convert and utilize low-temperature waste heat, thereby achieving steam balance in the whole plant fore Huizhou Petrochemical and reducing energy waste. CNOOC Energy Development invited experts from five disciplines, including structure, electrical, process, quality and safety, to the review meeting. The experts listened to the work reports from the construction entities CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd., the EPC contractor Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd. and the supervisor Shandong Tongli Construction Project Management Co., Ltd. Through on-site inspections and document reviews, the inspection team experts unanimously agreed that the main body construction of the project has been basically completed, meeting the conditions for mechanical completion, and agreed to accept the mechanical completion after rectification of issued identified by the experts is completed.
