On March 27, the Mabianzhou Island Pipeline of the Huizhou Ethylene Raw Material Pipeline Project, under the EPC contracting by the Company, successfully achieved mechanical completion. The milestone ceremony was held in the ball launching area of Mabianzhou Island. Leaders of the owner, operating entities, supervisors, Sinopec Guangzhou and construction contractors attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, the leaders of the owner presented the mechanical completion certificate to the Company and the construction contractors, and gave milestone rewards to the workers on site.

This project is the part of the main pipeline on island of ExxonMobil 1600KTA ethylene main plant area for unloading naphtha raw material transported from the sea, and will later be handed over to Huade Petrochemical for operation. Since the start of the prefabrication site on August 3, 2023, facing the difficulties of tight work schedule, heavy tasks, complicated underground conditions and inconvenient transport to the island, the project implementation team, with the strong support of the Company leaders and relevant departments, adhered to the principles of “safety first, quality foremost, and rapid progress” and “win-win cooperation and win-win for common glory”. With the efforts of all participating entities, the project successfully achieved the milestone of mechanical completion, laying a solid foundation for subsequent project handover.
