Following the kick-off of the 1600KTA delayed coking plant, on March 15th, construction was started in full swing for the four EPC packages undertaken by the Company: the 2000KTA aromatics complex, the carbon dioxide recovery and product refining plant, package II of vertical storage tanks in the refining and chemical tank farm, and wastewater treatment and recycling facilities of Huajin Aramco Petrochemical in the Liaobin Coastal Economic Development Zone, Panjin City. Vice President of Huajin Aramco Petrochemical Huang Zuxin, leaders of various participating entities, Company leaders Yang Xudong, Wang Xiaowei, and heads of project management, procurement and construction management departments, as well as key members of the EPC Project Management attended the kick-off ceremony.

Huajin Aramco Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is jointly funded by Huajin Group, Saudi Aramco, and Panjin Xincheng Industry Group. The fine chemical and raw material project invested by it is a project with the contract signature witnessed by the heads of state of China and Saudi Arab for promoting the overall strategic cooperation of the two countries. The project will have 32 production plants, including 1500KTA oil refining, 1650KTA ethylene, and 2000KTA PX and the supporting facilities. The Company will undertake the EPC construction tasks of 5 packages.
