On January 29, the impact test for the 35kV transformer in the regional substation of the naphtha and light diesel comprehensive utilization project of Shaanxi Yanchang Yuneng Chemical was successfully completed according to the milestone schedule, marking the full success of power receiving by the regional substation of the project at one time.

The naphtha and light diesel comprehensive utilization project of Shaanxi Yanchang Yuneng Chemical is an important strategic project of the company in the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and also another EPC project undertaken by GPEC at Yuneng Chemical following the DMTO project. After completing the overall design for the project, GPEC also undertook the EPC service for plants of 250KTA naphtha hydrorefining, 200KTA light diesel hydro-upgrading, 250KTA olefin raw material refining and the support facilities.

Since the project commencement on February 28, 2023, GPEC has actively allocated personnel to participate in the main construction activities of the owner for civil works and erection, with safety and quality accident always under control, and the work site has been appraised as “2023 QHSE Management Demonstration Site of Yanchang Petroleum Group”. At present, filing of project design documents has been completed, the procurement schedule has been fulfilled by 94.62% and construction schedule by 75.65%, and the work of “three checks and four decisions” by area and discipline has been started.
