On January 19, Driss Berraho, global vice president of ACWA Power and his delegation visited GPEC for work and technical exchanges. Han Weiguo, executive director and CPC Committee secretary of GPEC, and heads of the Process Department, I&C Office, Design Management Department, Construction Management Department, Market Department and International Business Department were present at the exchanges.

In the exchanges, Han Weiguo talked about the development history, performance and capabilities of GPEC, especially the breakthroughs made in the fields of green hydrogen, green methanol, green synthetic gasoline and carbon capture, presented the details of Kuqa green hydrogen project in Xinjiang, shared the experience of project construction, and highlighted the innovative work of GPEC in green hydrogen related technologies, materials and equipment.

Driss Berraho and his team introduced the main operation and business model of ACWA Power, with focus on its development plan in the field of green energy. Driss Berraho expressed ACWA Power's desire to invest in the Chinese market and the expectation to further cooperate with GPEC on a global scale in the future.
