Recently, construction was started for the Huizhou Ethylene Feedstock Pipeline Project of ExxonMobil, under joint EPC by the Company and China Petroleum Offshore Engineering Ltd., and the project has come to the phase of in-depth intersection of design, procurement and construction. Representatives of the owner, project consortium and construction contractors were present at the kick-off ceremony.

For the ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project, with a total investment of over 10 billion US dollars and located in Huizhou Daya Bay Petrochemical Park, production plants and supporting facilities such as the 1.6 MTA ethylene plant with flexible feed steam cracking, the 1.2 MTA high-performance linear low-density polyethylene plant and 500 KTA low-density polyethylene plant will be constructed. The feedstock pipeline project consists of two packages, and will mainly convey feedstock such as naphtha to the steam cracking plant. In September, 2022, the detailed design and procurement for the project was started concurrently.

According to the project overall network plan, the feedstock pipeline project supporting the entire ethylene project will be completed by the end of the year.
