On August 22, a grand kick-off ceremony for the construction of Refined Petroleum Products Reserve Base Project in Beihai, with the Company as the EPC contractor, was held, relevant leaders of Beihai City and Tieshangang District, Li Jibing, executive director and Party committee secretary of Beihai Refining and Chemical Company, and Yang Xudong, general manager and deputy Party committee secretary of the Company, attended the ceremony.

Beihai Refined Petroleum Products Reserve Base is a key project in Beihai City and also a key project in the 14th Five-Year Plan for the development of Sinopec Beihai Refining and Chemical, with a total investment of 995 million yuan. After the completion of the project, the throughput capacity of the port will reach 3.5 million tons/year, with a storage capacity of 400,000 cu.m., and can realize the integration of refining and warehousing, to boost the rapid development of Beihai Refining and Chemical in the new industrial layout of “one base, two wings and three new projects”, greatly increase its refined petroleum products storage and transport capacity, and provide a powerful guarantee for its transition and leap-forward high-quality development.
