Recently, mechanical completion was realized for Tianjin Nangang Ethylene Project, indicating that the works of the whole project reached a milestone node, and the project construction has achieved important results. Relevant leaders of Sinopec Project Department and Tianjin Petrochemical and leaders of the participating entities attended the meeting, and deputy general manager Wang Xiaowei and relevant personnel of the Project Management and project team of our Company were present at the mechanical completion ceremony and the work mobilization meeting for intermediate handover acceptance and handover acceptance work arrangement meeting of the project.

After the meeting, Wang Xiaowei and members of the project team went to the EPC project site of the Company, and inspected the wastewater treatment works, butadiene extraction plant and pygas hydrogenation plant. He requested the project team to continue to properly do the follow-up work, and well control the quality and safety, to lay a solid foundation for the subsequent startup and operation. 

It is reported that Tianjin Nangang Ethylene Project, as a key project of Sinopec, consists of 13 main plants including the 1200 KTA ethylene plant and support facilities, with a total of 64 units. Among them, our Company undertook the tasks of two packages: the 150 KTA butadiene extraction plant and 600 KTA pygas hydrogenation plant and wastewater treatment works.
