On January 1, the construction of the Xiaodongjiang Directional Crossing Project of Maoming Petrochemical Bomao Oil Pipeline Project jointly contracted by the company and Ruipai started, marking that the project construction has entered the critical stage.The Owner's representative, main members of the Company's project team, and relevant personnel from Maoming Ruipai Engineering Company, the 10th Construction Company, Guoxin Supervision and other units attended the commencement ceremony.

The 81 km Bomao oil pipeline is the "14th Five Year Plan" energy planning project of Guangdong Province and the provincial key project. The Xiaodongjiang River Crossing Project is the key path and milestone node of the Bomao oil pipeline project.The 360 ton directional drilling technology is mainly used in this construction. Six straight seam steel pipes cross in parallel at the same location. Not only is the spacing between each pipe only 8 meters, but also the crossing length is about 467 meters under the water surface of about 3.3 meters. In addition, the geological conditions are complex, and the construction is difficult. There is no mature experience for reference in China.

In order to ensure the successful directional crossing of the project, the project team and all participating units of the company, through careful planning and scientific organization, overcame the adverse conditions such as the difficulty of land acquisition and the impact of epidemic situation, and realized the smooth commencement of the project.
